Russell Epps, Chairman of the Board,

Russell, has been a pioneer in the Technology Industry with the Creation of EpressTimeSheets, an Online TimeSheets Software Company, the design of the EpperSoft Framework, which allows for the development of software applications in 1/2 the time and cost of traditional programming.  He has also created P.O.I. (Proof of Insurance) software that allows police officers and municipal courts the ability to determine a driver's current Liability Insurance Status by only entering their vehicles License Plate Number.  Most recently he is the Chief Software Architect for Windfall, a new and dynamic software that allows employees to make more informed decisions regarding their benefits, by seeing the effects on their paycheck in real time.  Additionally, Mr. Epps is the CIO for BlackHairMedia.com, which is the number one online source for hair care and beauty information for Women of Color.  Using his software the site manages more than 20,000 members, thousands of articles and posts, and more than 45,000 visitor each day from over 200 countries.

Mr. Epps brings a wealth of business strategy and vision to Christian Outdoor Coalition, and an unparrelled  attention to detail, compliance, financial responsibility, and safety for all members, volunteers and most importantly the youth and families that C.O.C. serves.

John B. Miller III, Executive Director/Founder
 
Mr. Miller and his wife Beverly founded COC in August of 2000 to provide positive life change options for the youth of his church and the Fifthward community. Mr. Miller retired in 1987 after serving for more than 20 years in the U.S. Navy and retired from ExxonMobil in 2001.He is a certified Hunter Education Instructor for Texas Parks and Wildlife and a Huntaster/Huntmaster Instructor for the Texas Youth Hunting Program. He serves without compensation and is dedicated to the growth and effectiveness of COC services to the youth of Houston and the State of Texas.

Beverly Miller,

Mrs. Miller is the coordinator as well as the Treasurer for the organization.  She will be overseeing all of the finances along with the chairman.  She will also coordinate, plan, and arrange all outings and activities with the youth.  The rest of this information is just to take up space and to see how this page will look upon completion or close to completion.

Danny C. Pringle Sr.

          Mr. Pringle is the Director of Culinary Department for Christian Outdoor Coalition. He has been with this organization for over three years. He has been hunting and fishing for over thirty-five years. Mr. Pringle completed his Culinary Arts program at San Jacinto College North.
    
Mr. Pringle is a Texas Hunt Master and Hunter Education Instructor with the Texas Parks and Wild Life. He has served in the U.S. Marine Corps for over twenty years. The last ten years in the U.S. Marine Corps he served as a Recruiter through out Houston , Baytown , Liberty , Dayton , and Southwest Texas . Mr. Pringle Retired and has dedicated time to work with Christian Outdoor Coalition Youth Program.

Gina Cheri Goosby, 
                Administration Manager, in the Information Technology Department, Enterprise Resource Planning Division has been employed with the City of Houston since 1976.  She has devoted over 29 years of administrative, leadership and management experience to city government.  She has served as a board member of the Christian Outdoor Coalition (COC) for two years and is currently the Director of Activities.  She is also a dedicated & committed member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church for over 45 years and is the Youth and Choir Director of the “Little Folks Choir.”   In addition, she has been an active member of the National Forum for Black Public Administrators since 1991, and was elected as Secretary of the Houston Chapter and serves on the National Membership Committee.  She is also an active member of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Black Heritage Committee and serving as her first year as “Captain” of the Special Events committee.

 Gina enjoys traveling, working with children and cooking.  Her hobby in cooking for “Friends and Contacts” has gone from “Zero to Ten.”  Constantly being called upon by “Friends & Contacts” to prepare delicious cuisine for various occasions, “GG’s Unlimited – Caterer & Wedding Consultant” was established in June 2000.  Her motto -We aim to please you!  Gina continues to pursue this endeavor as a second business career opportunity with her “knack” for cooking for others.  Another short-term goal is plans to pursue a certification in Culinary Arts.  

 

K.D.Jackson,  Web-Site Director

K. D. Jackson is the Web Director of Christian Outdoor Coalition.  He has been with this organization for over 3years and has been hunting for over 20 years.   I'm  also the Director of the Galena Park Crime Watch program in my neighborhood and is a member of  the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo and Southwest Trail Riders Assoc,  Northeast Western & Pleasure Club & Hospitality Committee.  For the past 14 years I have work in the technology field with Novell/ Netware, Windows NT, Windows Servers, Windows 3.0 up to Windows Vista and networking servers for businesses,  I also test new programs as a IT Professional for Microsoft.  I also work as a consultant building network systems and web-sites and hosting them for Small Companies and people.   I hold a full time job with J.B. Hunt Transport in Houston for the past 5 years.

CARL FULLER

Mr. Fuller recently relocated from New Orleans , Louisiana bringing with him 35 years of teaching and coaching experience with the New Orleans Public School System. During his years with the school system, he also worked nine years as a Crisis Intervention  Specialist. He primarily worked with children in distress.  He played three years of professional basketball with the American Basketball Association. He was president of the Rod and Gun Hunting Club in Woodville , Mississippi for 20 years.  Mr. Fuller was a Basketball Official in New Orleans .  He is presently officiating basketball games in the Houston area.  He is a Texas Huntmaster for the Texas Parks and Wildlife.  Mr. Fuller wants to share with youth his vast knowledge and experiences of hunting, fishing, and coaching.  By imparting knowledge, skills of teamwork and sharing will aid youth in the pursuit of a wholesome and rewarding life.
